- - -; – Da es sich geziemt,verdiente Menschen zu ehren und die jüngeren zu der gleichen Gesinnung zu veranlassen, damit ein Wettstreit sei unter denjeweiligen Epheben um Disziplin und um Gehorsam gegenüber den vom Volk für ihre gute Ordnung eingesetzten (Lehrern); (und) damit auchRat und Volk öffentlich verdiente Menschen ehren, zu Glück und Heil!, wolle beschließen der Rat: dass die erlosten Vorsitzendenfür die kommende Volksversammlung hierüber verhandeln lassen und die Beschlussvorlage des Rates in die Volksversammlung einbringen,wonach der Rat es für gut befindet, dass man belobige die Epheben unter dem Archon - - - und sie bekränze mitgoldenem Kranz wegen ihrer Frömmigkeit gegenüber den Göttern und ihrer Disziplin, die sie stets während des gesamten Jahresbewiesen haben, und ihres Ehrgeizes für den Rat und das Volk, und verkündige diesen Kranz an den Dionysien in derStadt bei den Tragödien-Uraufführungen und an den Panathenäen und Eleusinien und Ptolemäen bei den Sportwettkämpfen; dassfür die Anfertigung der Kränze und die Verkündigungen Sorge tragen die Generäle und der Schatzmeister derMilitärkasse; dass ihnen auch sein soll ein Ehrensitz bei allen Spielen, die die Stadt veranstaltet; dass der jeweils gewählteBausachverständige ihnen den Platz dafür zuteile, wie sie es erbitten; – Da auch ihr Kosmetedargelegt hat, wie sie in Gehorsam zu ihm viel Nützliches bewirkt haben für das Volk zu seiner Sicherheit und seinen Schutz,und er Rat und Volk bittet, ihnen einen Preis für ihre Mühen zu gewähren, um ihn zu weihen: dass man ihnen,wie der Kosmete bittet, der Würdigung halber gebe, was dem Volk (als Preis) geeignet scheint, und dessen Weihung im Lykeion zu gestatten, um ein Denkmalfür ihre Mühe und Ordnung zu haben, und daraufzuschreiben ihre Namen mit Patronym und die Namen der Demen und desKosmeten und der Lehrer; dass man auch belobige ihren Kosmeten - - - S.d. - - - aus dem Demos - - -,wegen - - - und seines Ehrgeizes, den er stets für den Rat und das Volk hegt; - - -- - - und zu bekränzen gemäß dem Gesetz; dass man auch belobige ihre Lehrer: den Knabentrainer HermodorosS.d. Heortios aus dem Demos Acharnai, und den Waffenausbilder Persaios S.d. Symmachos aus dem Demos Kikynna, und den Speerwurflehrer Nikomachos S.d. Niko-machos aus dem Demos Aphidna, und den Katapultausbilder Pedieus S.d. Neandros aus dem Demos Kerameis, und den Bogenschießtrainer Sosos S.d. Proxenosaus dem Demos Sphettos, und den Sekretär - - - S.d. - - - aus dem Demos - - -, und bekränze einen jeden von ihnen mit einem Olivenkranz;dass diesen Beschluss der Sekretär, der während der Prytanie amtiert, aufzeichne auf eine steinerne Stele und die Namen derEpheben nach Phylen, und aufstelle auf der Agora; dass die entstandenen Kosten - - -
